Many designes have existing context which is essential in the overall impact of the rendering. This rendering depicts a new courtyard adjacent to the renovated Willard Hall at Kansas State University. Typically I like to photograph the existing view because this saves time. However there was a building located where the courtyard is planned and too many summertime trees were blocking the perspective view, so I had to recreate all the buildings on the computer as well,
